Western Australia Police shot a man dead this morning during an incident in Perth which left two officers injured.
A man in his 30s was killed in Gosnells just after 1am, when police were called to an address on Fremantle Road following reports of a disturbance.
An officer discharged their firearm, a WA Police statement said, "causing a man in his 30s to receive a gunshot wound".
The man was declared dead at the scene.
Two police officers who attended the Gosnells home were injured and taken to Armadale Hospital.
Police said there is no threat to the Gosnells community safety, but are urging public to avoid the area.
An investigation is underway.
