Contact tracing is underway after a Gold Coast truck driver tested positive for COVID-19.
The man was potentially infectious in the community for up to five days, between August 28 and September 1.
The man is the only new local case of COVID-19 in Queensland, out of 11,315 tests in the past 24 hours.

The state has also recorded one overseas acquired case, detected in hotel quarantine.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk confirmed the truck driver travelled to New South Wales.

Authorities say that driver was infectious in Queensland for just one day, arriving in the state on August 25 and returning to NSW on August 26.
