The state also set a new testing record with more than 52,000 tests carried out in the previous 24 hour period.
Queensland Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young said while she was "hopeful" lockdown restrictions could lift in Queensland's 11 south-eastern LGAs on Sunday, there was still work to do.
"We've still got a while to go," she said.
"We still need to do that 50,000-plus tests per day, we still need people, over 7000 of them, to remain in quarantine and not leave for any reason unless it is an absolute, dire emergency."
Queensland Health confirmed exposure sites including a school playing field in East Brisbane and a junior football game at The Gap.
