Mass queues have swamped testing sites in the regional Victorian city of Mildura after a man became its first COVID-19 case more than a year.
The Mildura man's infection was reported yesterday but was included in today's coronavirus figures.
The man in his 30s attended an MCG match between Carlton and Geelong on July 10, watching the game in the MCC section, before returning home to Mildura where he developed symptoms.

Queues have stretched to 1.5kms long this morning as people line up to get tested after potentially being exposed to the virus.
Several cafes and eateries in the community have been listed as Tier One exposure sites, including Vietnamese restaurant Mister Bun Mi, Blk mlk Speciality Coffee, Yo Yo Joe's, Noodle World, Caffeine Extraction and Kaffenio.

Anyone who visited the venues must get tested and isolate for 14 days.
The venues of concern relate to time frames between July 12 and 14.
The case also attended the country town's aquatic and leisure centre on July 12 between 11.30am-4pm, and 5pm-9pm.
Shoppers at Coles Mildura may also have been potentially exposed to COVID-19 after the case shopped on July 12 between 11.15am and 12.45pm. The supermarket has also been classed as a Tier One site.
