Victoria's coronavirus outbreak has put an aged care home on high alert after it was feared a resident could have COVID-19.
The resident was returned to the mecwacare John Atchison Centre aged care and retirement home in Hoppers Crossing, south west of Melbourne, after being in hospital.
It was only when they arrived back that the facility was told the resident may have COVID-19, putting everyone on notice and sending the home into lockdown.

But late last night the resident tested negative to the virus.
The facility is now monitoring the situation closely after a deadly outbreak there during the state's second wave last year.
In 2020, 18 residents of the home died from COVID-19, a figure the facility is keen to avoid.
The scare comes as a staff member at Casey Hospital in Berwick has tested positive to COVID-19, forcing more than 40 employees into isolation.

A further 900 people are also in isolation after an infected man visited the popular Prahran Market.
That list of exposure sites is continuing to grow, with the list of exposure sites reaching almost 400.
Yesterday Victoria recorded 26 new local COVID-19 cases, the highest daily figure this year.
But authorities say there are clear signs the lockdown is working.
All the new cases are linked to known outbreaks while 24 of the 26 cases were in quarantine throughout their infectious period.
But the state's lockdown, initially due to end from 11:59pm Tuesday, could be extended for another week.
