South Australians have been told to expect some good news later today with the state's lockdown predicted to ease.
Premier Steven Marshall told local radio station 5AA this morning there had been no serious escalation in COVID-19 cases overnight and the state was on track to scale back the current lockdown from tomorrow night.
"We want to students back to school on Wednesday, we want to start up construction and hospitality again. A lot of people (have been) going through a huge amount of pain over the last week," Mr Marshall said.

However, Mr Marshall said it would be a "sensible pathway" out of lockdown and restrictions would not be going straight back to where they were prior to when the state went into lockdown.
Mr Marshall said a transition committee meeting would be held again this morning to finalise the road map out of lockdown.
