Victoria has recorded one new local case of COVID-19 from more than 22,000 tests.
The new coronavirus case is a primary close contact, who had been in quarantine during their infectious period.
Restrictions will significantly ease across the state at 11.59pm tonight, the new measures set to be in place for the next fortnight over the school holiday period.

The limit for public gatherings will expand to 50 people and household gatherings will be permitted with up to 15 visitors to a home per day, including dependents.
Funerals and weddings can move to a cap of 300 people, subject to the density limits of the venue.
However, masks are still required to be worn indoors.
Victorian government officials are set to provide a COVID-19 update later today.
