Four workers have been injured after a truck's concrete pump exploded in Melbourne's CBD this morning.
Emergency crews rushed to the construction site on Bourke Street just after 8.50am today, following a triple-zero call reporting an explosion had injured workers.
"It is believed the pump line of a concrete truck blew out injuring four workers," Victoria Police said in a statement.

9News understands at least two patients suffered facial injuries from the blast.
Firefighters arrived at the scene within five minutes, assessing multiple patients before they were transferred into the care of paramedics.

"Firefighters investigated the concrete truck for any further danger, and the incident was brought under control within seven minutes," Fire Rescue Victoria said.
Two people have been taken to The Royal Melbourne Hospital and the other two have been transported to The Alfred Hospital with minor injuries.
