Paleo breakfast bars recalled over safety concerns

Producers of a paleo breakfast biscuit have issued a recall for the item following concerns they may cause illness if consumed.

The Naturally Good Super Paleo Breakfast Biscuits are sold at independent food retailers, including IGA supermarkets and health food stores, in NSW, ACT, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, Northern Territory and South Australia.

The affected flavours are lemon chia, maple hemp and vanilla flax and have the best before date labels of from August 26, 2021 up to and including March 15, 2022.

The recall is due to a potential increase in moisture which may lead to microbial growth.

If consumed, the affected biscuits may cause illness.

Anyone who bought the product and should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
