McLaren owner slammed for taking up two disability parking spots

The driver of a McLaren supercar has been slammed online for parking across two disability spots without a permit in Melbourne.

A Facebook user posted photos of the offending car to the Australian Disability Parking Wall of Shame Facebook group on Sunday.

The blue McLaren 570GT - estimated to be worth $300,000 - was parked at an underground carpark at the Como Centre on Chapel Street.

"The very definition of selfish and stupid. All that money and no sense," one member of the group said.

The supercar was still in the two spots at 5.30pm, with one person leaving an angry note on the windscreen. Some sushi was also thrown at the car.

The car park manager tried to find the owner but was unsuccessful and eventually tried to have the vehicle towed.

"Having the audacity to Park in 2 DISABILITY spots and blocking in another car who for all they know have someone in a wheelchair that now can't get inside their car. Just to save their precious McLaren," the woman who shared the images wrote on Facebook.

"Absolutely unbelievable, they've been here for a while too as someone's left a note on their windscreen."

The McLaren was parked in very close proximity to a BMW SUV.
