Former US president Donald Trump has returned to the political spotlight, attacking his successor Joe Biden in a speech to a conservative conference.
Less than six weeks after leaving office, Mr Trump delivered the closing speech of the Conservative Political Action Conference in Florida.
Mr Trump's opening remarks flagged his intent to remain a major force in the Republican Party.

"I stand before you today to declare that the incredible journey we began together four years ago is far from over," he said.
Mr Trump repeated the lie that the Democrats stole the 2020 US election.
Flagging a potential 2024 run, he said he "may decide to beat them for a third time".
Mr Trump again said he "may" decide to run, suggesting he has not yet made up his mind on the campaign.
He also received rapturous applause with an attack on Mr Biden, who took office in January.
"Joe Biden has had the most disastrous first month of any president in modern history," Mr Trump said.
"In just one month we have gone from America first to America last."
Mr Trump claimed the Biden Administration had neglected the US border with Mexico.
The former president also paid respects to conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh, who died last week from lung cancer.
Mr Trump then lambasted "radical Democrats", the "fake news media" and "cancel culture".
He also declared that he would not be starting a new party.
