Sydney COVID-19 cluster: Interactive graphics and restrictions explained

Thousands of Sydney residents are back in coronavirus lockdown this morning with stay-at-home orders taking effect on the Northern Beaches overnight.

The region is still split in two, with gatherings of five outdoors allowed north of the Narrabeen Bridge.

Those in the south can see up to 10 people outside, including children.

NSW recorded nine new cases of locally-acquired COVID-19 on Boxing Day, eight of whom are linked to Sydney's Avalon cluster.The one remaining locally-acquired case is currently still under investigation.
