Murder probe after man's body found west of Brisbane

Queensland police have launched a murder investigation after a man's body was in Ipswich, west of Brisbane.

Police were called to the scene on Hall Street, north Ipswich just before midnight on Christmas Day.

The man, believed to be in his early 50s, died at the scene.

His injuries are yet to be determined.
