A child is believed to be in cardiac arrest after a near-drowning incident in coastal Victoria.
An ambulance was called at Portarlington, east of Geelong, at about 1pm.
It is believed the young child and their mother were walking along a pier when the child fell in.
The child is receiving CPR and an air ambulance has also been sent.
