Central Coast school closed due to 'unconfirmed' COVID-19 case

A private school on the NSW Central Coast has closed today due to a possible coronavirus case in a student.

All students and staff at Green Point Christian College in Green Point are being told to stay home today while further tests are undertaken by NSW Health.

"The school has been advised by NSW Health of a possible but unconfirmed case of COVID-19," the school advised parents in a social media post this morning.

"The school will be non-operational for the on-site attendance of staff and students today as an extra precaution while we await confirmation of the result."

There have been no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New South Wales today, according to NSW Health.
