Millions of dollars in cash has been found stashed in a suitcase inside a car after a driver was pulled over for a license check.
Police discovered $4.35 million in notes in a station wagon they stopped on the Pacific Motorway at Eight Mile Plains south of Brisbane about 8.30am yesterday.
The alleged driver, a 37-year-old Strathpine man, has been charged with receiving tainted property.
He faced the Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning
Police are trying to determine the origin of the money.
