A shopper in the United States has gone on an extraordinary rant after being asked to put on a face mask.
The woman was holding the mask while doing her groceries in Texas when an employee told her she needed to cover her face.
She was going through an express checkout with a trolley full of items, which she promptly began throwing onto the ground.
"I don't give a f--k, I'm from Dallas," the unidentified shopper screamed, as she grabbed the groceries from the trolley.
The woman complained about the "dumb--- motherf---ing rules and your dumb--- motherf---ing s--t," yelling that it was all "over a dumb--- motherf---ing mask".
The woman continued to throw all her goods onto the floor.
"Put all that s--t the f--k back," she shouted, before storming out of the Fiesta Mart in Dallas on Sunday.
The short clip was filmed by Omar Guillen, who posted it online.
"She was wearing [a mask] while she was shopping but by the time she got to the checkout line she took it off and refused to put it back on," he explained.
Businesses in Dallas must now tell customers to wear face masks or face a fine of up to $500 (A$730).
The US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention advises the use of a mask or face covering because it slows the spread of COVID-19 and prevents those who have the virus from transmitting it to others.
But the wearing of masks has been a contentious issue across the US.
In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott has been reluctant to enact a state-wide order, leaving the decision up to individual counties instead.
