Two teenagers have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death inside his own home in Sydney's west in the early hours of this morning.
A group of at least five people allegedly ambushed the 39-year-old inside his Riverstone house just after midnight, stabbed him and then fled, witnesses have told police.
Two women, aged 34 and 43, also living at the Langton Street address were left unharmed.
Paramedics were called to the home just after 12.30am, where they performed emergency treatment on the victim but he died a short time later.
Police have established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic police.
The two women, while not physically injured, were taken to hospital.
The Riot Squad, PolAir and the Dog Squad were called in to help police search the surrounding area.
Within minutes, the two boys, aged 16 and 17, were found on nearby Regent Street and arrested.
They were taken to Riverstone Police Station, where they are assisting police with their inquiries.
Charges are yet to be laid and investigations continue.
