A man has been charged after allegedly assaulting the daughter of Animal Justice Party MP Andy Meddick on a Melbourne street.
Kielan Meddick, 25, last month claimed she was left bleeding following the alleged attack on Smith Street in Fitzroy.
A man allegedly threw a spray can at her during an altercation about 11pm on November 18.

"A 25-year-old woman became involved in a verbal altercation with a man who allegedly threw a spray can towards her as she attempted to flee," police said in a statement.
Ms Meddick was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A 20-year-old man handed himself in to a police station about 2.15am today following a public appeal.
He was interviewed by police and charged with recklessly causing injury and discharging a missile.
The Maribyrnong man has been bailed to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court on April 20 next year.
