Victoria has recorded 1061 new COVID-19 cases and four additional deaths as the state's full vaccination rate of residents aged over 12 hits 90 per cent.
Almost 53,000 COVID-19 tests were performed yesterday.
There are now 11,331 active cases of COVID-19 in Victoria as the state moves to shut down any entry of the new Omicron variant.

As of 11.59pm last night, anyone arriving into Victoria who has been in one of several southern African countries in the past 14 days will be required to undertake 14 days' hotel quarantine.
The countries include Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, The Seychelles, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

New South Wales has recorded 185 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths in the 24 hours to 8pm last night as the state works to boost vaccination rates among 12 to 15-year-olds.
Currently 76.5 per cent of 12 to 15-year-olds are fully vaccinated, and 81.3 per cent have received a first dose.
In the state's population aged 16 and over, 94.5 per cent have had a first dose while 92.4 per cent are now fully vaccinated.
