Victoria is set to welcome the return of overseas travellers despite ongoing high COVID-19 case numbers.
After a decline in daily cases yesterday to 1036, Victoria today recorded 1471 new COVID-19 patients and four deaths.
But after passing the 80 per cent vaccination mark yesterday, the state is set to welcome its first overseas arrivals today - without requiring any quarantine.

Melbourne Airport will see multiple flights from Singapore and one from Hong Kong touching down today, with vaccinated arrivals able to go straight into the community.
Fully-vaccinated Victorians from today are also allowed to enter New South Wales.
Over the weekend, COVID-19 commander Jeroen Weimar also declared an end to the daily virus updates.

Thousands are set to attend the Melbourne Cup tomorrow, after the race that stops the nation banned crowds in 2020 due to the pandemic.
