A frontal system moving across the south east of Australia is generating showers, rain, and isolated storms.
The rain will be heaviest over southeastern NSW, with showers extending into Queensland and Victoria.

In Victoria, showers, storms and cold temperatures are expected in the southwest and northeast of the state. Showers are easing in the southeast however temperatures remain cold. Snow is also expected on the Alps.
In South Australia, showers are forecast for the southeast and central parts of the state. Conditions will be mostly sunny but cool in in the west and north.
Tasmania is in for a windy day, particularly on the highlands. Mostly cloudy, cold in the southwest. Fog then sunny, cold in the southeast. Showers easing, cold in the northwest. Showers, cold in the northeast.
Showers are in store for the southwest of Western Australia while conditions remain clear in the south. A hot and sunny day is expected in the north.
In the Northern Territory, a very warm day is forecast in the north. Windy, mild over the interior. Sunny, cool-to-cold in the south.
