Victoria records one new local case of COVID-19

Victoria has recorded one new local case of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours to midnight.

There have been no new cases acquired overseas.

The one new locally-acquired case is a primary close contact who has been quarantining throughout their infectious period.

The one new local case comes from more than 17,100 tests.

Victoria is currently handling 68 active cases of COVID-19 in the state.

To date, a total of 785,623 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to Victorian residents.
