The bodies of the plane's crew, a 30-year-old Brisbane man and a 46-year-old Sunshine Coast man, were found inside the wreck.

Senior Sergeant Brett Young said the operation to retrieve the men would be a "big job" due to the thick bushland location of the wreckage.

Multiple police vehicles remain near the crash site this morning

Multiple emergency agencies and aircraft were deployed in the search efforts, including the Rescue500 Helicopter and Surf Life Saving Helicopter.
