Queensland has recorded at least one new case of COVID community transmission after a man tested positive and was hospitalised overnight.
The 62-year-old President of the Portuguese Family Centre told 9News he tested positive overnight.
It's the second positive case to come from the restaurant exposure site in the past week after a man in his 60's tested positive earlier this week.

The new case comes after Queensland declared several council areas in New South Wales, including Greater Sydney, as COVID-19 hotspots.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is expected to address the media this morning.
