A 17-year-old boy has died in hospital in Victoria, after reports he was injured in the Melbourne suburb of Werribee on Friday night.
A 15-year-old Wyndham Vale boy assisted Victoria Police with their enquiries and was released without charge pending further investigations.
Homicide squad detectives will continue to investigate the incident, which occurred at Eagle Stadium on Ballan Road at about 5.50pm.

Stadium management informed the community the venue would be closed today.
"Due to the circumstances surrounding a serious incident that occurred at Eagle Stadium tonight, Eagle Stadium will be closed tomorrow," they said.
