A crew member on an international cargo ship currently docked at Kwinana in Perth has tested positive for COVID-19.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, left the ship complaining of symptoms unrelated to COVID-19 last night.
WA Premier Mark McGowan said when at hospital the man returned a weak positive for the virus, before a later test confirmed his diagnosis.

The vessel, called the Allegra, is carrying urea and is scheduled to depart for Malaysia.
Mr McGowan said conversations were being had with the Federal Government, however he believes the ship should depart without its crew member.
