Man trampled by 'out of control' bull in Sydney's west

A man is being treated by paramedics after being trampled by a bull in Sydney's west.

Emergency services were called to The Northern Road in Bringelly around 12:30pm following reports a man had been hit by an "out of control bull".

The man, aged in his 30's, suffering a gash to his head and was transported to Liverpool hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

"Initial reports was that a bull was out of control, but we were relieved to hear that the man was outside the paddock when we arrived," Inspector Phil Sweet from NSW Ambulance said.

"Paramedics assessed the man quickly and thankfully he escaped with just minor injuries."

"You can be as careful as you like but if you're working around large animals sometimes unpredictable accidents occur."
