Two charged with murder of Sydney woman found dead in bushland

Two men have been charged with murder over the death of a woman whose body was found in bushland in Sydney's south.

Najma Carroll, 33, was found by a member of the public in dense scrub near Sandy Point Road off Heathcoate Road in Menai on July 29 last year.

Police described her injuries as "horrific" and she had suffered burns to her body.

Najma Carroll's body was found in bushland in Menai last year.

A burnt-out Mercedes was also found nearby.

Detectives arrested two men at Silverwater jail yesterday and this morning.

Both have been charged with murder and will appear in Sutherland Local Court by video-link today.

Police will address the media today.
