Teen boy with autism missing from Sydney's south

Police are appealing for the public's help to find a teenage boy with autism who has been missing from Sydney's Sutherland Shire for almost two days.

Charlie Keysell, aged 14, was last seen leaving a home on Queens Road in Brighton-Le-Sands at around 8.40pm on Friday.

Police say they have concerns for Charlie's welfare as he is on the autism spectrum.

The 14-year-old is of Indian/Sub-continental background and is described as being about 165cm tall with a medium build, short brown hair and hazel coloured eyes.

He was last seen wearing his school uniform, including a white shirt.

Charlie frequently spends time in the Rockdale and Kogarah areas.

He uses public transport, and police say he may travel to Newcastle.

Anyone who has seen Charlie, or has information about his whereabouts, is urged to call Kogarah Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
