Images of stabbing victim released as police investigate 'suspicious death'

Police have released new images and footage in the hopes of finding the person who stabbed a man to death in Sydney's north-west last year.

Warwick Hunter was found on the footpath of Budgeree Road in Toongabbie suffering multiple stab wounds.

Despite the efforts of emergency services and members of the public, the 49-year-old died at the scene.

Detectives have now released CCTV vision of a vehicle of interest seen travelling on Wentworth Avenue, Toongabbie, prior to the incident.

The vehicle depicted in the CCTV is described as being a red Honda Accord Euro sedan with distinctive black rims on the rear wheels and silver rims on the front wheels.

Police are urging anyone with information about the movements or occupants of the vehicle to come forward.
