A Brisbane man accused of forcing girls as young as 17 into sexual slavery and branding them with tattoos has been hit with a raft of new charges by police.
Police allege 35-year-old Matthew Markcrow kept the women aged 17 to 24 in conditions of servitude, forced them into unlawful prostitution and drugged them.
They allege he controlled their lives and money, had them tattooed as being his property and secretly filmed their sexual acts with male clients.
Earlier this month, Mr Markcrow was charged with 10 offences including unlawful prostitution, aggravated servitude of a victim under 18 and possessing dangerous drugs.
Queensland Police said this morning they had charged Mr Markcrow with an extra 13 offences as a result of their investigations and information gained through a public appeal.
The extra charges include six counts of conducting a business involving servitude, one count of grievous bodily harm and four counts of supplying dangerous drugs.
Detective Inspector Juliet Hancock, Officer-in-Charge of the Prostitution Enforcement Taskforce, previously said she believed there were more victims and appealed for them to come forward.
Queensland Police said in a statement this morning nine victims have so far come forward.
Two 23-year-old women were also charged earlier this month as part of Operation Sierra Vast.
Mr Markcrow is due for his next court appearance in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
