New South Wales has reached one week of no new locally acquired cases of COVID-19, with NSW Health confirming no new local cases today.
Three new cases have been detected in hotel quarantine, bringing the total number of cases recorded in NSW to 4898 since the start of the pandemic.
However, testing numbers have remained low, with 11,344 tests conducted yesterday - almost the same figure as the day before.

NSW Health has repeatedly called for more people to come forward for testing.
"High testing rates are essential to give us confidence that no cases are going undetected in the community," NSW Health wrote in a statement posted to Twitter.
It comes after fragments of the deadly virus were found in sewage at the Liverpool and Glenfield treatment plants.

Positive virus traces were also detected in the Northern Beaches and Berala sewage plants earlier this week, but health authorities said that is likely due to known cases of COVID-19 in the area.
Regardless, people living in the affected suburbs are being told to be particularly vigilant in monitoring for symptoms and coming forward for testing.
A heatwave over the Australia Day long weekend has seen huge crowds flocking to beaches and other public gathering places.
People have been warned to maintain social distancing rules with local surf clubs assisting councils to monitor beaches in case they reach capacity.
