A man is in a serious condition after he was stabbed while walking through Annerley, in Brisbane's south, overnight.
Police believe the 39-year-old was approached by a group of men on Ipswich Road around 11pm before a verbal altercation broke out.
One person from the group is alleged to have stabbed the man multiple times in the lower body.
During the wounding, the group also stole the man's phone.
The victim was able to walk to Annerley Police Station to raise the alarm, before he was transported to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have information or dashcam footage to come forward.
