A Townsville mother and her boyfriend have been granted bail after being charged charged with manslaughter over a three-year-old girl's death in a hot car.
Laura Peverill, 37, and her boyfriend Aaron Hill, 29, allegedly left three-year-old Rylee Rose Black in the back seat of a car in Townsville on Friday.
The court heard the pair allegedly watched television series Shameless while the toddler was trapped in the vehicle.
Temperatures reached 30C that day.
Ms Peverill is understood to have driven to the hospital when Rylee was found unresponsive.
She could not be saved.
Ms Peverill and Mr Hill faced Townsville Magistrates Court this morning.
