'No trace' of missing Sydney woman Melissa Caddick three weeks on

There is still "no trace" of Melissa Caddick, nearly three weeks after she disappeared from her home in Sydney's affluent eastern suburbs.

The 49-year-old mother has not been seen since November 12, when she left her home in Dover Heights to go for a run - without her phone or any belongings.

Security cameras in her house failed to capture her leaving as the hard drive had been seized three days earlier.

Federal agents raided the property on behalf of corporate watchdog Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC).

Today, NSW Police asked for anyone driving in the Dover Heights area between 6.30pm on Wednesday November 11 and 9am on Thursday November 12 to hand over dashcam footage.

Areas of particular interest are Wallangra Road, Dover Road, Military Road, Rodney Street, Lion Street, Hardy Road, Napier Street, Portland Street.

"They're all the local streets around the area Melissa was known to run around, it's her local neighbourhood," NSW Police Detective Inspector Gretchen Atkins said.

She also confirmed the investigation is still being treated as a missing persons case.

"At this point in time we can't say definitively where Melissa is, we are treating it as a missing person," Detective Inspector Atkins said.

"Nobody's been in touch with her, she hasn't been in touch with her friends, her family, her son, and so it is just we want to find Melissa.

"As with all missing people – if somebody hasn't been in touch with the people who are nearest and dearest to them, that's peculiar, that's strange, and that certainly concerns us."

Police are reviewing very large amounts of CCTV handed in by members of the public, but are yet to spot Melissa on any footage, Detective Inspector Atkins added.

Anyone with information about Melissa Caddick's whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
