A young boy has been flown to hospital after being attacked by a dog at Lake Macquarie, north of Sydney.
The five-year-old was bitten at Bonnells Bay community centre at about 4.30pm.
The boy was treated on the scene for serious neck and face injuries.

He was stabilised before being flown to Royal North Shore hospital in Sydney.
The boy's family told 9News they just hoped he would receive treatment soon.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the attack.
