Kellyanne Conway, the former senior adviser to Donald Trump, has tested positive to coronavirus.
Ms Conway confirmed her COVID-19 diagnosis in a tweet, saying she has mild symptoms.
"Tonight I tested positive for COVID-19. My symptoms are mild (light cough) and I'm feeling fine," the tweet said.
"As always, my heart is with everyone affected by this global pandemic."
Ms Conway's diagnosis comes less than 24 hours after the US president returned a positive test to the virus.
Mr Trump and his wife Melania were both diagnosed yesterday.
Mr Trump was taken to Washington hospital the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre this morning for treatment.
