Victoria has reported 116 new coronavirus cases, its lowest level since July 5, and 15 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Premier Daniel Andrews will give details at a press briefing scheduled later this morning.
"Our thoughts are with everyone during this difficult time," Department of Health and Human Services said in a statement.

Health officials have said they expect to see a continued downward trend of daily COVID-19 case numbers as Melbourne passes the scheduled halfway mark of stage 4 restrictions.
Victoria's seven-day case average is now 195, down from 322 one week ago.
Australia's national death toll sits at 517, including 430 deaths in Victoria. Eleven of 17 deaths in Victoria yesterday were linked to aged care settings.
Victoria yesterday reported 208 new cases.
On July 5 Victoria reported 74 cases.
