Victoria has today recorded 113 new cases of COVID-19 and 12 further deaths.
The latest numbers indicate a drop in the number of daily fatalities after the state recorded 23 deaths yesterday.
The new case numbers are the same as yesterday's daily figures which were the lowest in more than seven weeks.

Premier Daniel Andrews is expected to reveal a plan for the state's road to recovery in the coming weeks ahead of the end of state four restrictions on September 13.
Mr Andrews said every Victorian can be positive about the state's coronavirus infections on the decline.
"We hope to give people a road map, a clear plan about what coming out of stage four looks like, what opening up looks like, what finding COVID normal looks like," he said.
The state is currently battling more than 10 key outbreaks however the Peninsula Health and Vawdrey Australia clusters are of particular concern with larger number of new cases linked to both yesterday.
Victoria Health will provide further details on todays new cases later today.
