A man in his 80s and a man in his 30s have been seriously injured during an assault at a Victorian shopping centre this morning.
Police and emergency services rushed to the shopping centre on McCombe Street, Rosebud, just after 10.15am.
Early reports state a man was in the shopping centre with a weapon.
The younger man has been taken to Alfred Hospital in a serious condition with an upper body injury.
The older man was airlifted to hospital and is currently in a stable condition.
A man is in custody and there is no immediate threat to public safety.
Police are currently investigating.
Rosebud is a coastal town on the Mornington Peninsula just outside of Melbourne.
