Almost 14,000 tests have been done over the past 24 hours.

"COVID-19 is continuing to circulate so maintaining high rates of testing is really important," Dr McAnulty said.

While the case numbers are low, Dr McNulty said there are 16 people who caught the virus in the past four weeks, mostly in south-west and western Sydney, and don't know where they got it from.

A total of 122 cases are being treated by NSW Health, with almost 90 per cent of people not in hospital.

There are seven people intensive care and five are on ventilators

Dr McNulty warned people with any symptoms to get tested immediately.
