LIVE UPDATES: Victoria death toll remains high
There were 30,173 tests reported in the past 24-hours, compared to 20,874 yesterday.
Five new cases are linked to a cluster in the Sydney CBD and four are close contacts of previously reported cases.
Three of the new cases are from the Sydney CBD Tattersalls gym, bringing the total number of that cluster to eight.
"Anyone who attended the gym on the 19th, 23rd or 24th of August is considered a close contact and must get tested," NSW Health said in a statement.
More to come.
