A woman's body has been found in bushland in Sydney's south.
Police are investigating the death as suspicious after a member of the public made the gruesome discovery in scrub near Sandy Point Quarry in Menai just before 6pm yesterday.
Police have not confirmed the woman's identity, but she is believed to be aged in her 30s.
A crime scene has been established and forensic officers are collecting evidence.
Police said the death is being treated as suspicious.
