The family of a young man killed in Melbourne's south-east overnight following a brawl says they have "no idea why this happened."
Thomas Tran, 20, died after a fight broke out on Atherton Road, Oakleigh, around 8pm yesterday.
Mr Tran's family is at the scene and told 9News he was at the gym last night before he was killed.
Four people are in now in custody.
