Gymnasiums, yoga, indoor pools and dance studios can reopen within a fortnight and kids' sport can resume across NSW from 1 July, as more COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
As of June 13, people living in NSW will be able to return to their local gyms with fitness classes capped at 10 people and 100 people per venue.
Indoor swimming pools, saunas and tattoo parlours will also be opened up with some level of restrictions.
The announcement also applies to community centres, which will be able to resume their services in mid-June.
"There are many services, including social welfare small groups that meet in community centres and it will just make it that much easier for them to be able to have their meetings and to give that mental health aspect back to our communities," NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard said.
NSW will also lift restrictions on community sport on July 1, beginning with sports for those 18 years and under.
"We all know that physical fitness is important to, of course, your mental fitness and that's why it's timely that we've made this announcement," NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro said today.
Mr Barilaro said the further easing of restrictions will give the state a much-needed boost to the economy.
"This does nearly capture every area that we haven't looked at previously, giving the economy an opportunity to rebound, an opportunity for people to start their businesses again," Mr Barilaro said.
"You build summer bodies in winter, and that's what we're doing today."
Mr Hazzard also issued a stern warning to the people of NSW to remain vigilant as restrictions are relaxed further.
"Gymnasiums, particularly, have been just behind beauty parlours in terms of demand to try and get back in there," Mr Hazzard said.
"I'm sure the community - having been through what they have been through in the last four months - don't want to see an outbreak in transmission in Australia."
NSW has recorded six new cases of coronavirus as of 8pm last night, all of which were travellers now in hotel quarantine.
