Boy, eight, goes into cardiac arrest after fall at Sydney school

An eight-year-old boy is in a critical condition after a fall at a primary school on Sydney's northern beaches.

CareFlight were called to Mona Vale Public School about 11.30 after the accident.

It is understood the boy fell from a height, but it is unclear what he fell from or how high the fall was.

The boy hit his head and went into cardiac arrest. He is being prepared to be taken to the Children's Hospital at Randwick in a critical condition.
